Eligibility:

Loan Limits:

You can borrow up to the cost of education less any financial aid you have received. For the Health Professions Loan, your school will be asked to certify the amount for which you are eligible, so the final approved loan amount could be less than the amount that you request.

There is no minimum loan amount (with the exception of Residency, Relocation and Review Loans which have $1,000 minimum) and high lifetime borrowing amounts.

Great Rates:

As low as % (% APR)1 (APR Examples)

CitiAssist Loans have flexible credit guidelines that can help you get approved at the best possible rates. Credit histories for you and any co-borrower may be used as a factor in determining your eligibility for a loan. The interest rate charged is a reflection of the credit score of the applicant and a co-borrower, if any. Apply Online to get a credit response in 3 minutes or less and see the interest rate for which you qualify.

No Loan Fee:
There is no loan fee on CitiAssist Health Professions and Residency, Relocation and Review Loans, so you’ll receive 100% of the money you borrow.

Repayment Terms:

Tip: Avoid late fees by submitting your payments in advance so they are posted to your account on or before the scheduled due date.

No Payments While In-School or During Residency:
CitiAssist Health Profession and Residency, Relocation and Review Loans do not require payments while you're in school, residency or during the nine month grace period . If interest is not paid while you are in school, it will be capitalized when the loan enters into repayment. You can choose to pay interest in order to lower monthly payments after you complete school. There are no pre-payment penalties.

Important Note: If you wish to defer payments during your residency, you must apply for a Residency Deferment.

Flexible Repayment Terms:
Health Profession and Residency students have up to 25 years to repay their CitiAssist Loans plus any periods of deferment or forbearance.

Postponement of Repayment:

There is an interest only repayment option that is available for 24 or 48 month period. Or should you experience financial difficulty, just give us a call and we'll work with you.
